Six research projects form the core of an initiative to bring together a diverse group of Afro-descendent and indigenous collaborations in Latin America with academics. The focus of each research project is driven by a strategic priority in the life of the community, organisation, or social movement concerned. Written in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, this book provides an explanation of the key analytical questions and findings of each project.
