Gus George Angelos compiled his autobiography, in which he talks about his life growing up as a son of immigrant parents from Greece, his Greek heritage, baseball, the military, his work with orthodontics, and family. Gus' contribution to baseball and dentistry will long be remembered by those whose lives he touched. Gus Angelos' life is illustrative of someone who is a good friend, a good athlete, and a good person. He and Pearl are examples of service, compassion, and success in all that they do. Our years together on the ski slopes, and other places, have been instructive and enjoyable for us both. I value my friendship with Gus. (Marv Melville, Olympic skier and friend)
