Writing from the point of view of the 800 Jewish women moved from Auschwitz to Bremen to undertake forced labour, Muller uses primary source material to shed new light on female forced labour. This is unique research on a forgotten camp and its forgotten forced workers. This translation also contains the reflections of the survivor Hedy Brasch.
