Chris Emery was born in 1963 in Oldham. He is the former Director of Operations and Director of Development of The Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham. He has published four collections of poetry, a writer?'s guide, an anthology of art and poems, and edited selections of Emily Brontë, Keats and Rossetti. He lives in Norfolk.

Jen Hamilton-Emery is Salt's Managing Director, but like everyone else in the business, she has a finger in almost every pie. She has been with Salt since its start 14 years ago and she struggles to think of a better line of work: nothing quite beats the thrill of discovering a must-publish manuscript or being one of the first to see our new books fresh from the printer's.
