A young woman is playing roulette in a Nevada gambling house, and she is winning. That is why she laughs. Peter Storm, observing her, cannot make up his mind whether she is beautiful or not, but he likes the way she laughs. When the girl catches sight of Peter, she immediately gathers her winnings and leaves. They are destined to meet again-and soon-in quite different circumstances, for both become embroiled in the search for a formula which may decide the fate of nations.
