Gordon Morris wrote this originally as a kind of diary for himself. It is an account of the antics of his English springer spaniel mainly on their walks together on Hayling Beach, near Portsmouth. 'Musing with Charlie' is also about Gordon's memories and thoughts of his life, the universe and everything (to quote a phrase) as they walked together.
