Sarah Kuhn (Author) Sarah Kuhn is the writer of the critically acclaimed YA graphic novel Shadow of the Batgirl for DC Comics. Her YA debut, the Japan-set romantic comedy I Love You So Mochi, is a Junior Library Guild selection and a nominee for YALSA's Best Fiction for Young Adults. Her latest YA novel, From Little Tokyo, With Love, is a Junior Library Guild selection and was recently chosen as Penguin Random House's One World, One Book title of the year. She is also the author of the popular Heroine Complex novels, an adult fantasy/romance series starring Asian American superheroines. The first book is a Locus bestseller, an RT Reviewers' Choice Award nominee, and one of the Barnes & Noble Sci-Fi & Fantasy Blog's Best Books of 2016. Additionally, she was a finalist for both the CAPE (Coalition of Asian Pacifics in Entertainment) New Writers Award and the Astounding Award for Best New Writer. A third generation Japanese American, she lives in Los Angeles with her husband and an overflowing closet of vintage treasures.
Dean Rankine (Illustrator) Dean Rankine is a Ledger- and Stanley Award-winning comic book artist and writer from Melbourne, Australia. Best known for his work on Simpsons Comics, his other credits include Futurama, Rick and Morty, Invader Zim, Hellboy, Skottie Young's I Hate Fairyland, Underdog, and Oggy and the Cockroaches. He's the co-creator of the UpBeat Geek mental health card set, and illustrates the Timmy the Ticked-Off Pony series, written by Magda Szubanski. When not drawing, Dean likes to eat pizza, play Dungeons and Dragons, and watch cat videos.
