IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING IS WRONG - WHY CONTINUE TO TRAIN OTHERS TO DO THE SAME! The Church is not only the community of the redeemed - but also the redeeming community of the lost. We are not only commanded by our Lord and Savior, but also impelled by the indwelling Spirit of God to declare the message of God's redeeming love and reconciliation in Jesus Christ to all peoples. I see a new apostolic generation rising in the earth today who are radically Christ centered (Acts 1:8). This Spirit-filled new wineskin will hold the new wine God is pouring out. The "new" is simply a restoration of what has been lost for 2000 years. What we need most is a renewal of the understanding, practice, and commitment to the Great Commission of the early apostolic church - of whom it was reported, "They turned the world upside down!" Many local churches are offering institutional religious substitutes. Dr. Leach argues, "Pastors, "If what you are doing is wrong (unbiblical) and you know it - why do you continue to train others to do the same?" He insists that we are trying build Christ's Church and kingdom without Him, using man-made standards, plans and blueprints? If Christ is really the true foundation of what you are building, why can't your instructions be found in the Letters and the Book of Acts? Displaying His love Jesus counsels, "As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore, be zealous and repent. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches" (Revelation 3:19, 22).
