This study not only provides the status of web security on the basis of study on some Indian websites and their changing pattern but also provides the algorithm which can generate the security reports of asked websites and assist any organization to manage their security as per their policy. This report described in five different chapters contains the details of study which includes Introduction, Background of study, Objective and significance of study, Data gathering instruments, Sampling and methods of gathering data, Analysis of the study work which has been obtained from the port scanning experimental data and observation of the proposed algorithm under study. This study presents the changes in the security settings of the Indian Web sites on the basis of open port¿s study of experimental result. Based on port scanning, preventive security measures can be taken by organizations as a policy matter.
