Interspersed throughout are the tongue-in-cheek rules, excerpts from the fictitious BOOK OF LIFE, acting as signposts, which, if remembered, may well serve the uninitiated. Anecdotal material from the author's own life is unavoidably included, without which the advice offered would lose credibility.
