I am a 69 year old born again Christian who has been active in a variety of churches for 47 years. Observing Christians in America during that time has given me cause to worry about our collective spiritual state. One disturbing trend is the lack of knowledge of Bible truth. I am concerned that we as a people will perish for lack of that knowledge. It seems that only a small minority of church-going Americans have read the Bible through even once. This makes us vulnerable to every wind of doctrine that blows across our land. I am not an expert on the Bible and certainly not an expert sociologist. But I do enjoy trying to present the Bible in a clear and enjoyable way. It has always been enjoyable to me. Bible preaching and teaching has been a part of my life for over 30 years.I am the second of ten children. Our father, Ray Stieffel, Jr., was also an author. I have admired his writing since I was a child and have always wanted to be a writer like him. This desire finally connected with my spiritual concerns and resulted in Health and Wealth: God's Will or Not?I live in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi and enjoy the water and sailing.Currently attending First Baptist Church in Bay St. Louis.
