The study of social issues and their critical reflection in the form of plays in the works of Nikolai Gogol and in its Iranian counterpart, namely the works of Akhondzadeh, has been one of my favorite topics in the field of dramatic literature since my undergraduate studies. For this reason, I also presented a research on this topic for my thesis for the aforementioned course. In the current course, to continue this research and with the advice of my theoretical supervisor, I began my research, and at the same time, in the practical part, I began writing the play. This book has 5 chapters including: Chapter I, Introduction to the Subject;Chapter II, Realist Literary Works in World Literature;Chapter III, Theoretical Framework: Critical Realism;Chapter IV, Realism in Theater;Chapter V, Critical Realism: An Introductory Introduction and References.We hope this book useful for students, professors and others who have interest in Iranian and World Literature.
