Bryan Taylor
is Chief Economist of Finaeon, Inc., previously known as Global Financial Data (GFD). He received his PhD in economics from Claremont Graduate University. Taylor has taught economics and finance at multiple universities. In 1990, he began building what became the Global Financial Database, a long-horizon repository created by collecting, transcribing, and harmonizing financial and economic data from historical archives worldwide. He is based in Irvine, California.
