Kai and Jamal are best friends who love playing basketball together at recess. Kai always seems to be the stronger player, and when basketball tryouts are announced, Jamal begins to feel anxious and afraid that he won't make the team. Doubt and fear start to take over until Jamal's dad shares an important truth with him about Jesus.
Through learning about Jesus and believing that Jesus lives within him, Jamal discovers a new strength. He learns that fear doesn't have to control him and that with Jesus, he can face challenges with confidence. As Jamal steps onto the court with boldness, he not only overcomes his fear, but also finds the courage to share his faith with his friend Kai.
