Samantha Erron Gibbon is an otipemisiwak (Métis) iskwew from Edmonton, Alberta. Her writing, illustrating, and dancing have taken her across her prairie homelands, but she remains firmly rooted in the city that holds her partner and children, her extended family, her career as a physician, and her beloved urban Indigenous experience. Samantha takes pride in advocating for youth and women across her creative, medical, and educational paths, and she hopes that as her community grows, they continue to find the agency to flourish through science and the humanities alike.
