Gilles Marchand is director of the Media Philanthropy Initiative at the University of Geneva's Center for Philanthropy. Holding a degree in sociology, he has served as Director of Swiss French Television (TSR), Radio Télévision Suisse (RTS), and the Swiss broadcasting corporation (SRG SSR). He also sat on the Board of TV5Monde and on the Executive committee of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU). Manon Plegat is a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute for Sociological Research at the University of Geneva and an affiliated researcher at the Centre de Recherches Sociologiques et Politiques de Paris (CRESPPA). A member of the Geneva Center for Philanthropy, she is involved in the Media Philanthropy Initiative. |
