After a mutiny, Lord and Lady Greystoke are marooned on an island in the African Jungle with their infant son. The baby is orphaned soon after and adopted by a grieving Ape named Kala. Raised as an Ape, and given the name of Tarzan, he quickly grows in intelligence and become Lord of the Jungle.
